Born To Endure

Born to Endure is an autobiography which unfolds a life-long struggle of
a village lad, who emerged from nothing but endeavor. His enthusiasm
grew stronger day by day with a relentless array of hurdles he had to
encounter from schooling through thirty-five years of government service
to his retirement. In this story he leads the reader through his forbidden
love affair by counteracting all backdrops of the socio-economic, political
and cultural lifestyle of the Sri Lankan community. Throughout all this,
the writer takes the reader on a tour of the beautiful Island in the
Indian Ocean.
