APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
It’s March 2020, and when two English wives disappear in the same week, DC Clements is tasked with finding the women and any connection between the cases. But what begins as a straightforward missing persons thriller soon turns darker as the twisty plot takes hold and the Coronavirus lockdown threatens to turn any leads cold. With over 20 novels to her name, Adele Parks’ stories lie somewhere between thriller, domestic noir, and modern morality tale, and Both of You delivers on all fronts. Clearly revelling in the lust, vengefulness and secrets of her characters, Parks has created a bold and entertaining exploration of moral defiance and the pain it causes others.
Leigh and Kai are both happily married, yet they disappear in the same week, leaving their husbands devastated. Are the two disappearances related?
Over the course of the book, a mystery gradually comes much clearer, and all is not as it seemed.
Tense thriller, leaving the answer of the villain until right at the end, after several false trails are laid.
This has the premise to be such a good read. It ended so abruptly without explanation and was a total disappointment!
Brilliant but ruined by the ending
Could not put this book down.
However very rushed ending with no actual explanation. Ruined the book for me as a result
