Welcome to New London. Everybody is happy here.
Our perfect society achieves peace and stability by dispensing with monogamy, privacy, money, family and history itself. Now everyone belongs. You can be happy too. All you need to do is take your Soma pills. This is the brave new world of Aldous Huxley’s deeply sinister and prophetic novel, a society based on maximum pleasure and complete surveillance – no matter the cost.

Polar opposite of 1984
Perfect accompaniment to 1984
Brave new world it’s all in the mind and how we are conditioned
I enjoyed the intellect of the writer and his ideas about people being conditioned to be happy with their lot but then came the questions on the price paid for that and the loss of real freedom dignity ,bravery and free will albeit being unaware that they had none .
A VERY RARE BOOK
Astonishingly beautiful.
