Fab read
I really enjoyed this book, the series has been a bit hit and miss for me but this one is definitely a hit!
I've always liked Crow when he's popped up in previous stories set in this world and although he's been a little sharp at times he's never come across as malicious. I really liked that he's taken complete responsibility for his actions. He's incredibly tough on himself but he's a work in progress. He steps up when he needs too which shows how decent a person he is.
Birdie is in a tough spot through not fault of her own and luckily for her Crow is in the right spot at the right time. She's a strong, independent person who has managed really well through some trauma. Her daughter Mia is a delight.
Their journey together is crazy from the start. It's fast paced and fairly instant lust/love. They have really sweet chemistry that heats up in a flash. I loved the little moments of honesty which brought some fun to the serious situation Birdie finds herself in.
This is also a lovely catch up with the couples from the previous books. I really enjoy this world as a whole and always recommend this author.
