Publisher Description

The is the tale of a cheeky little sod from Salford called Jason growing up surrounded by his properly funny and most definitely shameless family and his discovery that being funny might actually get him somewhere. Other than detention, mugged, dumped or sacked that is.

It's about being part of a big, northern, working-class family forever struggling with money, but never short on laughs or misadventures, who show that when the chips are down what really matters is sticking together.

Jason Manford - Brung up proper

A very good and interesting read and some surprises in the book too a must read for any Jason Manford fan.

A cracker.

Jason Manfords early life story as written by him with lots of help from family members who need lots of help. A warm, funny tale of a shy, young Mancunian, growing into a shy, middle aged Mancunian.
This book has no pretentions, it is written in Jason's own style. It's endearing and honest. Apparently Jason and his entire family are Manchester cITY fans, although he hardly mentions it.
Buy this book, you will not be disappointed.
