Absolutely Amazing and Addictive Read
This is book three in The Elsie Creek series and it is Lucy and Jax’s story and omg it is definitely a must read. Lucy is shy, caring, has a heart of gold and would help anyone that needed it but her dream is to be her own boss and working in The Tea Room in Elsie Creek gives her the opportunity learn and cook even though at times she is accident prone when it comes to cooking and she occasionally burns things not that she means to but it just happens to her and then she meets Jax and her life takes on a difficult situation that ends up with Lucy losing her job. Jax is a former firefighter and had arrived in Elsie Creek to live and renovate a farmhouse that is so run down that he doesn’t know where to start but first he needs to go into The Tea Room and get the keys he needs from someone called Lucy but when he walks in the kitchen is on fire and a beautiful but shy woman is in the thick of it so Jax does what he can to help. Things between Lucy and Jax starts off bad but eventually they come to a agreement that Lucy helps Jax with his renovations and he will help her with her cooking because she wants to enter and win the annual bake off but the more time that they spend together the closer they become while opening up to each other about their past and lives and just when things start to go well and progress between them something happens that pulls them apart but will they be able to find there way back to each other and communicate so that they can get the happiness and future that they both deserve, well you will just have to read this book to find out what the outcome will be for them especially with the secrets that are being hidden. Mel A Rowe is an amazing author and writer and she is one of my favourite and go to authors because she always takes you into the story and makes you feel every single emotion and you feel like you are living beside all the characters as if you are family and she certainly knows how to keep your attention throughout while turning the pages and her books are so amazing and addictive. I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will not be disappointed and I can’t wait to read more of her books in the future.
