Customer Reviews
Call to arms
Very enjoyable series, though too easy to read; I have to keep buying a new one as I am a very fast reader. 5 in three days.
Loved it
I am really enjoying this series of books, great characters that are believable and brilliantly written too - looking forward to reading the rest.
Call To Arms
Having read the series from book one Call To Arms continues the great style of Rachels previous novels.
In this book we see Kay Hunter develop as a police officer on a promotion whilst her former DI is suspended and she has returned to work after a period of sick leave.
The story is well written in the style that is now Rachel’s trade mark, engrossing, detailed and one that gets the reding thinking who has done what based on the clues given. Then a big clue is revealed that forces you to change your mind and it leaves you stumped at times.
This book follows on from her previous Kay Hunter novels and you won’t be disappointed reading this as a standalone but its best to read them in sequence to get the full character development of Kay Hunter and the team.
