Publisher Description

Cardiff’s extraordinary transformation over the past decade has been such that it now comfortably ranks alongside Britain’s most inviting cities. Today, the Welsh capital boasts a wealth of exciting, family-friendly attractions, high culture, superb restaurants and some seriously cool nightlife. Best of all, however, is the magnificent Millennium Stadium, a sporting amphitheatre to rival any in the world, and home to the currently vibrant Welsh rugby team. A short walk or boat ride away, Cardiff Bay has been similarly rejuvenated, its core of venerable old buildings newly juxtaposed with some superb architecture, notably the awesome Millennium Centre and State Assembly building – in summer the waterfront is the place to hangout in Cardiff. The perfect city break destination? You bet.

    FRUSTRATINGLY OUT-DATED

The concept and design of this “Cool” guide is quite neat, but…

Too much of the info in this book is hopelessly out-of-date: within seconds of opening I was reading about restaurants and bars that closed their doors years ago (eg Arbennig & Bar Cwtch etc).

What’s the point in leaving an e-book open for sale on this site, if it is about as handy as a railway timetable from 1978?

By its very nature, an e-book can be updated very regularly, and by helpfully doing so, the authors will avoid locals or visitors to be completely exasperated by it.

Since the “internet tsunami” first started, too much stuff online has just been abandoned, like some sort of massive e-graveyard.of garbage.

This hasn’t been updated since 2018

Extremely disappointed to find that due to not being updated some of the handful of “cool places” they have chosen have been closed by anything up to 3 years.
That’s not really acceptable in an ebook.
