Carruthers' Demise

Author Chelsey Carruthers' new book has been rejected and she is in a foul mood. Her literary agent husband, Martin, takes her to the New Forest for a short break. But while there, Chelsey disappears, and shortly afterwards the publisher who rejected her work is found murdered, in Chiswick, West London.
Martin is convinced she is not to blame, but police inspector Jack Manners has other ideas.
