A Standalone Second Chance Romance

“An amazingly written, heart-wrenching story of a man lost and the woman who helps him find himself—a second-chance romance unlike any other.” – Anna Zaires, New York Times bestselling author

If a man tells you he’s no good for you, best heed the warning. I learned the hard way. I had Jake Basson’s baby. He left to chase his dream. Now he’s back, demanding a second chance, but why should I give him anything after four years of nothing? No correspondence, no news. I finally have my life back on track. Jake has never been uncomplicated. He never follows the rules. I should’ve known he’d play dirty in his war to win me back. He caught me once. I’m not going to let him catch me twice.

Unconditional Love

A beautiful, amazing read that had me sobbing and laughing at the joy of Family love, and the ups and downs of the wrong life choices and the curves life can throw at everyone of us! This great author also displayed how nothing in life is insurmountable as long as it is done with unconditional love. Pure love is the very best in your life’s journey.
This book drew me in from the very first page in this tragic life of Kristi the good girl and her secret crush since first grade on Jake Basson the rich bad boy, she loves the rough dominant side of him! There are enemies everywhere when you live in a trailer park in Rhensburg. Why does Jake always pick the destructive path? His unfaithfulness has been Kristi’s undoing but will it be Jakes downfall? Can love be enough to accept the painful past and move on? Waiting a life time for love can be the hardest! Why does Krista keep making the wrong choices in her unselfishness and her abiding love. Family love is Krista’s greatest dream of all!
The inimitable Charmaine Paul’s sure knows how to deliver the most beautiful prose and I can highly recommend this superb read.
