Funny and compassionate
Medical memoirs that manage to be very funny as well as show compassion and empathy: not all medical writers manage this.
If you work in theatres, you should read this!
I work as an ODP in anaesthetics everyday and I love my anaesthetist colleagues who have a wicked sense of humour and are amazingly clever and are a joy to be around. I also had to also had to work in the red zone in ITU for the covid waves so this book I can relate to so much. It’s got laugh out loud moments in it too and just a bloody good read!
