Catching Crimson

Detective Danielle Ramos is sorting out her life after her ordeal with the “Pennyman” (from the book Copper Eyes). As she is finally getting closure from this murder case, she is assigned the investigation of a murdered red headed nurse; the first in what was to be a string of killings of such nurses in the Dallas area.

While working on the task force to catch the madman who calls himself Crimson, Danielle meets a small-town police officer who seems to be turning her personal life upside down with his cowboy charm. Will Danielle make a move toward Officer Luke Denton? Would he accept such an offer?

Sergeant Chance Bynum is on the task force as well, and his personal life is beginning an upswing after meeting a captivating officer from another agency. Will his involvement with this new flame be the love he’s been avoiding, or will it compromise his work with the investigation?

Danielle, Chance and the others must determine who Crimson is and stop him before he gets to his ultimate target.
