Expensive Yarn Choices
I really would have liked this book but the fact that it specifies really expensive yarn leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Especially as the alternative yarns some patterns suggest are even more expensive than the yarn used. Some pairs of socks would cost you upwards of £50 to make if you were to make like for like. Obviously we can do our own research and choose better value for money yarns but the fact that absolutely no cheaper alternatives are recommended is why I’m leaving this disappointed review.
