Ivory Ducal is on the run from the most vicious, violent creatures to ever exist. The goblins will stop at nothing to gain the artifact in her possession: a shard of the evil mirror which had shattered many years ago. Jules Frost, the second prince of Taiga, bumps into the half-dead, heavily injured Ivory while patroling the borders of his brother's kingdom. The gallant royal defends her from her pursuers and takes her to his private residence to heal. She agrees to stay with him only until the eve of winter solstice.
