Some authors have the ability to bring their characters to life and make you, as a reader, love them like they’re real people and that’s exactly what M Robinson has done with the characters in this book. I’m not going into the story AT ALL. I couldn’t even if I wanted to because I have too many unanswered questions. So what can I tell you? The Queen Of Angst has lived up to her name with Choosing Us. Full of heartbreak, a female character that I adore and a man I’m not quite sure of yet, this book had me hooked from the first page. Aidens story broke my heart, Dr Pierce hasn’t had it easy and getting his past from his POV makes it extremely easy to feel for him. The children in this book will win you over so fast. I’m just as invested in them as I am in Aidens story.

I’m a huge fan of M Robinson and I can honestly say this is one of my favourite books of hers. The emotions, the characters, the story are all done perfectly. I wasn’t sure what I was expecting with this book but it wasn’t this. I’m left feeling quite conflicted about how I feel about certain people which I wasn’t expecting. I have theories, I have questions, I have a massive book hangover. Now I just need the next book to get my answers and find out what happens next for Aiden and his family.
