Cinderella
The story was not worth the price. It wasn't streamlined enough and didn't really end properly. The videos in-between disrupted the story too as we had to go back to the beginning of the book to start the audio again.
A rather poor show.
I bought this for my four year old, thinking it was a great idea to get the enhanced version. If I was busy, she could have the text read to her and enjoy the story. The narration is poor and once the text on each page is finished, the narrator just continues onto the next page without automatically turning the page to follow the story. How is a child who cannot read supposed to know when she's got to turn the page? Apple need to show properly which books are enhanced and which books support highlighted text so that parent can make an educated choice. For a first purchase, this book hasn't really left a great first impression.
Call this a sample???
Have no idea what an enhanced ibook is so thought getting a sample would shed some light for me. How wrong could i be! Page 1 is the front cover - nothing enhanced there; page 2 and 3 are the publisher note - again nothing enhanced there; and page 4 is a link to buy the full version! Why bother with a sample????
