A gripping read.
I have been a fan of Malcolm Richards ever since I read the Cove series so I knew that this new series wouldn’t disappoint. The book is well written and is a real page turner, I really didn’t want to put it down. One of the things I really like about Malcolm’s books are his descriptions of Cornwall, he obviously knows the area and even makes me want to go and visit the areas he has described. This is a perfect book for snuggling under a duvet and not moving until you have read the book. Thank you Malcolm, I look forward to reading the rest of the series.
Malcolm Richards Circle of Bones
I fell in love with Blake Hollow from page one, another gutsy lady from Malcolm Richards.
Although Malcolm’s heroines have similar traits you get a super suspense story with every book.
He is fast becoming my favourite author
Gripping read
I have family in Cornwall and spend a lot of time there, so when I saw this book, I was intrigued as I like to read books set in places I’m familiar with.
This book was excellent. The plot unfurled slowly and deliberately and had me gripped from the early chapters. The author is clearly familiar with his setting too, because unlike like a lot of ‘Cornish’ fiction I have read he doesn't just namecheck Doombar and St Ives and think that makes it authentic. His story utilises the different facets of the the landscape and the Cornish experience to really root it in the region. Loved it and can't wait for Book 2.
