Customer Reviews
Detection with a human edge.
Code Blue was a good read. I was kept focused by the human edge and first person narrative. This style of storytelling made the location easy to visualise and placed the reader alongside the characters in real time, watching the plot develop.
Definitely well written, although I did not feel the love scene needed to be so graphically detailed. Good writing does not need to have the tone lowered to make it acceptable. The author is clearly talented and has a flair for creating an atmospheric environment that draws the reader in.
Ok
Took a while to get started on this book, then it seemed like a lot of unnecessary chapters about irrelevant things….Alex a complete mystery in a lot of ways! Kept going till the end, but just not a book for me l’m afraid….sorry!
