Water is more precious than gold.

The story of Moses being told

As a baby he was thrown into the River Nile

But by the will of God he survived

He struck a rock with his staff and 12 springs gushed forth

The Lord caused the parting of the sea and Pharaoh drowned

Yet the worshipped the golden calf

Moses said we will throw it in the sea



Remember the story of Noah

Who was rejected by the idol worshippers

He preached to them privately and publicly

But they did not listen

Then the Lord saved him in the ark and drowned the disbelievers



Remember when Jonah was thrown overboard

And he thought the Lord could not save him

He called in the darkness of the belly of the fish

Glory be to You, I have sinned



Remember when Joseph was thrown in the well

The submitters and the warriors

The appreciative and the unappreciative

The Muslim and the warrior

The blessed thankful or the wicked regrets



Remember the legend of Safa and Marwah

When the Hagar the mother of Ismail

Searched for water

Back and forth and this being one of the rites of Hajj



Water is more precious than gold to people
