Colossians: A Verse by Verse Commentary

The great doctrines of the book of Colossians are presented against the background of Gnosticism, and intellectualism, that challenged direct creation and the incarnation of the Son of God. Because Paul was writing against this background, and to refute the heresy of Gnosticism, it drew from his brilliant mind the greatest presentation of Bible doctrine found anywhere in his writings.
