Comic Book Collecting

Between late 1930 and mid 1940 comic book collecting was an entertaining hobby for children who read comics for fun. Today, many enthusiasts collect comic books. Some still enjoy reading them like Bob Bretall who never gives up reading every issue for entertainment. Others collect for profit like the first-known dealer, Pop Hollinger who saved popular issues and sold them. Whether he realized their potential future worth is unknown. For decades, comic collecting has become a big industry due to ever-increasing fan-driven movies.
