Felt Rushed
Laz and Journey’s story is my absolute favourite and I was looking forward to this sequel from the moment it was announced. However, I’ve been left rather disappointed. Their story felt rushed all packed in one week, started off great, the middle was so slow and the end was underwhelming. I miss Laz’s relationship with his Godson and more from Journey and Geneva. Sad there was no character development for Laz and Journey’s assertiveness and strength had disappeared. Also, a table of who is married to who would have been useful rather than paragraphs upon paragraphs stating it.
Despite all this, looking forward to reading Parker’s story.
