Sophie is one of the lucky twenty thousand humans rescued from Earth when the Sargaxen arrive through a rift. She doesn't feel lucky. She wants her family, her friends and her world. The only way she can hope to regain any of these things is to return to Earth with the people determined to fight the Sargaxen, a seemingly unbeatable foe.
