Price Hudson has suffered a lot in his short life , he doesn’t need another funeral to visit before his sophomore year is out ! Kylee told him that it was her mother who killed her and Bill who tried to drown him, if it wasn’t for Mr. Hudson , Price wouldn’t be around to testify at all…. He has made a point of looking out for a waif who is picked on called Margaret and when in confidence with Amy she slips him a note from her. Margaret has a guardian Angel watching over her but it isn’t enough, she could do with a friend who is there wholly . This special friendship of theirs ensues and they are accepted among their peers . Very lovely writing and descriptions and the story is a compelling read
