Consumed by You is a second chance at love for these friends to lovers via a temporary friends with benefits relationship. This relatively light-hearted read is swoon worthy and filled with plenty of sexiness as this hot firefighter tackles the sexy flame that is his dog’s trainer and childhood friend.
Travis and Cara, who tell the through dual points of view, have a sensational chemistry from the very start that only continues to grow and get hotter as these two spend more time together. Their shared history adds a solid foundation to the way things play out and how their feelings come to the forefront for both during the short period of a couple of weeks. If you are a dog lover, you will definitely love the relationships between the characters and their four legged friends.
Consumed by You is a well written, light hearted read with just enough tension, drama, and emotion mixed into this hot relationship to make the book the perfect lazy day read to escape in. I loved the ending and sweet epilogue that perfectly rounded off Travis and Cara’s story.
Definitely recommend this book to people looking for a some spice mixed into a relatively light-hearted friends to lovers romance.
