Cooking Lessons

The upheaval of Addie Boone's life when she learns her boyfriend has been cheating on her results in two things; her decision to be through with men for at least a year, and the conviction that she is finally ready to buy her very first home. What is not in her plans is living next door to Callan Sharkey, who doesn't seem able to stay in his own yard, and is all too willing to tell her how to live her life.

Callan Sharkey has plans to focus on upgrading the house he's just bought for a quick turnover so he can buy the next house and repeat the process, but his new neighbor, who seems to think she's immortal, keeps distracting him. If he's not advising Addie Boone to be careful with the sledgehammer she's swinging around, he's warning her that standing on a flimsy lawn chair to do household maintenance is unsafe, and he knows it isn't wise to leave her, alone and unsupervised.

It doesn't take Callan very long to realize leaving her is the last thing he wants to do.
