Narrated anonymously by the agent in question, they never reveal their real name or their gender. The reader is able to imagine the hero to be whoever they wish as the agent uses the alias of journalist Cemeron Argalion Pike to conduct their investigation.

Surprising
I read this book whilst on holiday as it came from a first time author I was skeptical however I was pleasantly impressed with the book. The descriptive nature in which the author talked about the characters and locations in the booked added both colour and texture to the words. The storylines of which there where a few intertwined well and created a rich patina with the story. There is an opportunity to develop the characters more and create a series of books from this initial story which I am looking forward to reading should that happen.
Fantastic debut
A fast paced, intelligent, exciting novel with interesting mysteries and vibrant characters. The optimistic view of the future is something a lot of recent sci-fi has turned away from and is a breath of fresh air. The unique anonymity of the protagonist allows the reader to relax into the novel and bring the character to life.
Intriguing twists and turns, thought provoking themes, and some great action scenes from a largely non-violent hero. Sure to be a hit for sci-fi, fantasy, action, and adventure lovers.
