Counting Toys

This simple book gives your child the opportunity to answer the simple question how many. It also demonstrates counting with the whole part part model. First, develop your child's confidence by adding numbers. Number bonds are pairs of numbers that can be added to make another number e.g. 10 + 1 = 11. They are some of the most basic and most essential parts of maths for children to learn. These are the foundations of many other key number bonds. It provides the opportunity for your child to use the 5 frames and 10 frames to help with knowing how many. There is also the opportunity to say what the whole number is and what the parts are of the whole number.
