Courtship

The story Courtship is the adaptation from the Victorian era in which royal marriages were planned and young royal princesses were expected to marry the suitor they were matched with. In this story Princess Victoria was faced with possible suitors to which she decided to change the traditional story for that time. Through the book, children are shown that true relationships are built out of friendship, like-mindedness, and above all else an understanding of loving one's self first. Courtship empowers young ladies with the knowledge that we must love ourselves first and have faith that those around us will understand and embrace the changes in traditions.
