Love.
Love it. Love Patch. Buy buy buy :) (read the first one before though)
AMAZING BOOK!
Even though I haven't got this book on my iPad, I have the actual book and its great! If you like fantasy type genres then go for it :) but bear in mind it's aimed at teenagers
Why turn her into a ranting, fighting, selfish brat?
The story had great potential but lost its charm.
The leading lady, Nora, is a self indulgent brat. She doesn’t listen, doesn’t think, doesn’t love anyone except herself, makes the worst choices. She also rants nonstop, so one can skip large sections on almost every page and still follow the story seamlessly.
The leading man, Patch, from day 1 in biology class would never have tolerated her behaviour in book 2. Any man (or entity) would try and disappear as quickly as possible with that amount of crazy.
Unfortunately the author didn’t focus much on consistency either. One chapter would say one thing, another would contradict it. There are so many continuity problems, it made my head hurt.
I absolutely loved the Nora and Patch from the first half of Hush Hush, but this book is just not what any relationship should look like. Such an incredible disappointment from a story that had so much potential.
