The action-packed, heart-wrenching and fantastically addictive sequel to Sarah J. Maas's epic fantasy debut THRONE OF GLASS.
Eighteen-year-old Celaena Sardothien is bold, daring and beautiful – the perfect seductress and the greatest assassin her world has ever known. But though she won the King's contest and became his champion, Celaena has been granted neither her liberty nor the freedom to follow her heart. Celaena faces a choice that is tearing her to pieces: kill in cold blood for a man she hates, or risk sentencing those she loves to death. Celaena must decide what she will fight for: survival, love or the future of a kingdom. Because an assassin cannot have it all ... And trying to may just destroy her.
Crown of Midnight

CROWN OF MIDNIGHT
I have loved Sarah J Maas ever since i read A Court of Thorns and Roses because of the absolutely breathtaking plot. The heated romance and intreaguing fantasy truly captured me and i would recommend that book to anyone- do be careful though, it has some quite graphic and innapropriate romance scenes that come up quite often.
So i had very high standards for this book.
Throne of Glass was average in my opinion and was really lacking and romance, or anything to keep me interested. Yet, i still bought the second book because i had high hopes that the plot would fix itself somehow. It didnt. I was bored out of my mind reading this book……but my wish for excitement came true. The cliffhanger and the end of this book was a massive plot twist and had me screaming in shock. I must say that after around the middle of this book, things get decidedly better. the book after this one is absolutely fantastic though.
