Cupid for Hire
A hilarious romantic comedy
Publisher Description
Cupid meets her match in this sizzling new romantic comedy, perfect for fans of Christina Lauren, Sophie Kinsella, and Jasmine Guillory!
She can make anyone fall in love…
Poppy Hathaway is a professional Cupid. Need a love note, raunchy sext, or apology letter so epic that your other half will forget you hesitated a second too long when you asked, ‘Is my cousin hot’? She’s got you covered. But when her most frequent bachelor client, the annoyingly charming (or is that charmingly annoying?) Dylan Griffin comes to her with a big new job, Poppy discovers that three little words can add up to one big complication…
He’s got his eyes on the (wrong) prize…
Dylan doesn’t want help seducing another swimsuit model (for once in his life). He wants Poppy’s help winning his high-school crush - and he’s prepared to make it worth her while. Throw in a summer Catskills trip that’s equal parts ‘Dirty Dancing’ and dirty-talking, and this Cupid is soon out of her depth - and head over heels with the last man she expected. But can she find the right words when it comes to her own heart? Or will this happily-ever-after be more of a romantic disaster?

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
You'd expect playful plotting and peach emojis in a story about a young woman who ghostwrites love letters, and Lila Monroe's Cupids Anonymous gives us plenty of both. When Poppy Hathaway's wealthiest, most frequent return client recruits her to help win over his high school crush, the story takes a smart turn into matchmaker territory and everything clicks. Just as in her Billionaire series, Monroe relishes the aspirational world of the wealthy, and delightfully threads the couple's professional and physical tension with humour. With its classic Manhattan backdrop and sharp-witted swipes at social media, this is a satisfying rom-com for the digital age that's hard to put down.

An ok read
Great story!
Nice easy read and a great storyline. I loved it and couldn’t put it down!
This is a perfect summer read.
Cupids Anonymous by Lila Monroe was a fabulously funny story. The main characters gave me a heart-warming feeling whilst reading their story, even if Dylan started out as a bit of a ladies man. He soon changed his tune though, once he opened his eyes and saw the real Poppy, not the Cyrano to his love life.
From the outset, their chemistry was undeniably hot, and only got hotter the longer they spent time in each other’s company. It’s filled with sexy innuendo, sassy banter and two people just made for each other.
Except: Poppy isn’t the woman that Dylan was meant to be lusting after. He’d set his sights elsewhere, but fate, and time away from outside influences helped him see the truth.
Poppy knows she shouldn’t be looking at her client they way she does, and if not for that one electrifying kiss she might not. She’s been hired to help Dylan shmooze his next conquest, but, what if she wants to be that conquest. And a whole lot more?
I got all the happy feels with this story, it’s dynamics were spot on, from the interactions of the cast, main and secondary alike, to the small amount of angst, I just wanted to keep reading. This is one for a long, hot weekend read. Grab your copy today.
