Great story with dramatic backdrop
Perfect escapism for these difficult times! Escape to the past with this story. It opens with a very dramatic scene, perhaps a unique meeting! The story continues with twists and turns for our lead characters. A thoroughly enjoyable read from a very talented author of historical romances. Highly recommended
A timeless classic
After reading this, Daniels daughter Is up there with my all time favourites. I loved this from start to end and didn’t want to finish reading it. This is how I Imagine the earlier eras to be, filled with camaraderie, love, friendship, and general concern for others (albeit you have a few bad eggs that are selfish and want to hurt you), I understand My attitude is somewhat of a fantasy one, but I loved escaping into this book to believe it for even the shortest of periods.
