A voyage into the darkness…
Masterful story telling at its best… this author skilfully builds suspense by use of lyrical writing that creates a powerful visual of life on a whaling ship in the Arctic: each character is clearly & distinctively crafted, human behaviours analysed against dramatic scenes beyond most normal people’s life experience & a finale guaranteed to raise hairs on the back of your neck in dread! Brilliant!
