This 2017 sees Photographer David Levine, celebrating his fortieth year in photography. In 2013 he finally opened his 1980's archive and produces a book that includes some of the most iconic pop images of that decade. This is the latest expanded version of that original publication.
'In an age where everyone is a paparazzi, it's becoming increasingly difficult for any photographer to surprise us. Like Mick Rock, David Levine is one of those photographers who was in the right place at the right time and has written his work into history.' Boy George
'Featuring many of my favourite and quite a few never before seen pictures of some of the '80's biggest pop acts and artists. David Levine Exposed 1977-1987 is the first 10 years of my life as a photographer. I’ve loved taking pictures since I was six and realised soon after that I wanted to be a photographer. So I did everything I could to make it happen. It wasn’t easy but that didn’t matter. There simply wasn’t anything else I wanted to do.' David Levine
