There’s more to this book than meets the eye
High school sweetheart returning to her hometown after a fall from grace sounds rather stereotypical, but her character and situation is well developed in a way that feels authentic. I’d have liked a little more on her redemption with the more minor characters at the end, but otherwise a really well told tale.
