That Blessing, the first in the Dear You series, looks at the perceived notion held by some that their blessings can be tied up somewhere, somehow and by someone and how this notion holds up in the light of scriptures. It differentiates between a blessing and a promise and clearly lay it bare for the reader to see the difference and know just how to regard this notion in the light of Scriptures. Your blessing is not really yours but God's and this is the best news you can get because it means that only one person is in charge.
