‘This is that rare thing: a series that gets better with every book’ Telegraph
Daisy Wells and Hazel Wong are in Egypt, taking a cruise along the Nile. They are hoping to see some ancient temples and a mummy or two. What they get, instead, is murder.
Also travelling on the SS Hatshepsut is a mysterious society called the Breath of Life: a group of genteel English ladies and gentlemen, who believe themselves to be reincarnations of the ancient pharaohs. Three days into the cruise, their leader is found dead in her cabin. And soon, it’s clear to Daisy and Hazel that the victim's timid daughter is being framed.
But there is danger all around, and only one of the Detective Society will make it home alive...

Incredible
This is the only book that has ever made me cry.
The whole time, I was on the edge of my seat, and then that twist at the end... 😩
This book is Robin Stevens at her best.
I would recommend it, without a doubt! 👍❤️
Wow
It was quick for me to read. I still highly recommend reading it just read the rest of the series first.
I loved it sooo much!
I read it at 8 but I would recommend for 8-12 year old children! I love amino soooooo much! It also goes so well on my bookshelf and it made me cry! The murder was deep for a kids book but amazing! Recommend to anyone without hesitation!
