Don't judge a book by it's cover!
After the brilliant (if a little inconsistent) first book we are treated to an even better second act! The Doctor's character is captured perfectly here and Jamie gets a great write up as well. The monsters are used well and we even get (minor spoiler) a possible appearance of the Master! Overall brilliant second book and I'm eagerly awaiting the third!
