For fans of Lee Child, John Grisham, Jack Reacher and Michael Connelly
"Full of thrills and tension - but smart and human too." —Lee Child , #1 New York Times Bestselling Author of Jack Reacher Thrillers
When a famous plastic surgeon’s decomposed body surfaces in Tampa Bay with a bullet in its head, Federal Judge Willa Carson’s “little sister” is caught in a high-stakes game of greedy lawyers, blackmail and deceit. Carly Austin knew the victim too well. Does she know too much about the killer, too? Before Willa discovers the answer, Carly disappears. Can Willa save Carly from herself and the murderous conspiracy? Or have they killed Carly, too?
Free-sprited Judge Wilhelmina Carson is quick, witty and stubborn. She finds nothing is what it seems in a world where attractive women with enough money are made, not born, and beauty can cost your life. Judge Willa debuts in this fast-paced mystery filled with great characters, humor and suspense.

APPLE BOOKS REVIEW
Diana Capri blends her sense of humour with her legal smarts to make the first book of the Hunt for Justice series endlessly clever and never predictable. Capri, a former lawyer, introduces “Willa” Carson: a cigar-toting U.S. federal judge in Florida who does some investigating of her own when a body is fished out of water. Throw in blackmail, dodgy surgery and suicide, and this whodunit casts a jaded and suspicious eye towards the entitled elite and the things they’ll do to protect themselves.

Due Justice
A wonderful read.Enjoyed Due Justice very much. The author, because of her stylish writing,is extremely competent in her art.Every word had to be read, digested and understood, because the main plot and the numerous characters demanded it.Great plot, wonderful characters, skilfully managed, all leading to an inspired denouement, kept to the final pages. Can thoroughly recommend.
Due Justice
The first novel by Diane Capri that I have read - it won’t be the last! Fast paced and gripping right to the last page. Impossible to work out ‘who did it’ which is an absolute delight when the book is as well written as Due Justice is. A wonderful way to pass away a rainy afternoon.
