Publisher Description

In the early twentieth century, no Baptist theologian, minister, or layperson better represented "the sensible center" than Edgar Young Mullins, according to Brent Walker, executive director of the Baptist Joint Committee for Religious Liberty. Mullins, president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTS) from 1899 to 1928, also held an important position in American religious history in the early twentieth century.
