Over the fence
These Instructables books seem often to be the equivalent of neighbours swapping recipes at the school gate or over the garden fence - very practical, and done with excitement, but not technically books that look lovely or would be a pleasure to hold and admire - so a return to a very basic old style of relaying information to friends in a functional way just for the pleasure of sharing
