Information

This book provides crucial informations about what should be the most important thing to know, our food. I always wonder how people can be not only reluctant but strongly rejectful about this matter: it's like everybody knows something's going on, but they don't want the party to stop.
Well the party would not stop, it would simply make us able to survive the buffet.
Read this, it's well written, it can't shock you with strong imagery as usually documentaries do, but it will give you a lot of facts you might not know, or tried to avoid all this time.
You need to know what you eat, and there's more behind the label.
Aren't you even a little curious? Aren't you human?

Life changing

And that's not a term I use lightly. Foer explains the ways in which vast majority of meat that sits on our table is produced. At the very least this will put you off eating meat, hopefully it will make it very much a moral question for you. The crux of the book really is awareness. If you eat meat and wish to continue to do so, stop whatever you're doing and read this now.

Whilst the book itself can be a thought read for its content, it is incredibly well written and easy to follow. I couldn't recommend this enough.
