Edwards v. Ledford

The opinion of the court was delivered by This appeal arises out of proceedings instituted by plaintiffs
(appellants) to determine the ownership of two bank savings
accounts, neither of which was evidenced by any signed, written
instrument. The issue presented is whether or not the accounts constitute a
part of the assets of the estate of David A. Edwards, also known
as D.A. Edwards, deceased, or whether the defendants (appellees)
are entitled to the balance in the accounts as surviving joint
tenants.
