Rule number one is to never get involved with your tall, dark, handsome, and intense new boss. Rule number two—don't let him seduce you into craving him obsessively. Rule number three—don't break rules number one and two. Oops, too late!
After two days of being stuck in an airport, broke and weary, I finally arrived at the remote ranch to start my new job as executive assistant to business mogul and bad boy CEO Spencer Blackstone. But to my surprise, my enigmatic new boss was nowhere to be found, even though he left me a list of job duties a mile long.
One day led to the next, and he was still a no-show. The loneliness became unbearable, and I was on the verge of calling my controlling mother to ask her for a one-way ticket back to New York City, which would've been a desperate and stupid thing to do. Her help always came with strings attached. But just before I swallowed my pride and asked anyway, my reclusive new boss finally made an appearance.
OMG. Pics of him on the Internet do him no justice.
Spencer Blackstone is an extremely good-looking man. Our encounters never fail to send me reeling with pure, unadulterated desire. He's so seductive and charismatic that I can't stop thinking about him. But there are rumors about my secretive and guarded new boss. He's the sort of man innocent young women like me should avoid at all cost.
Yet, how can I resist him when he shows up at the most unexpected moments with his tousled hair and come hither eyes? His beauty and intensity never fail to set my soul and other sensitive body parts on fire.
But what does he do when he's not around? What is he hiding out here in the middle of nowhere? And are his secrets more proof of how dangerous it is to fall for a man like him? Good or bad, something tells me I'm about to find out.
Enthrall is book one of Spencer's story, part of a must-read billionaire romance trilogy with plenty of angst, twists, turns, and extra steam to keep you turning the pages.
Spencer’s strength and depth of character is both enticing and refreshing. The idea that the entire book is featured solely in the ranch is limited and with even less intersections with other characters is both good because you want more to be revealed and bad because it limits the richness and development of the characters..
OMG this book is amazing, this is shaping up to be a fantastic series. I’ve read the other Christmas series and this one follows on from that. There are so many secrets and I can see them all exploding. This series is about Spencer Christmas, he’s changed from the person he used to be and is looking to find answers. He hires an assistant, Jada, and things and feelings start developing. Definitely recommend this book
