Highly recommended

I didn't think I could get more involved with the EVE universe other than actually playing the game. But this book adds to the universe and more. However, you don't necessarily need to be an EVE player to understand what's going on in this book.

I put off finishing the book for as long as possibly as I didn't want it to end. The ending... Perhaps not the most satisfactory, in regards to this particular story, for good reason I hope (Templar One - the subsequent Gonzallez book), but this was still a damn fine novel. I've even downloaded the fan-fiction to get a greater knowledge / understanding of the EVE universe.

Highly recommended - EVE Online player or not.

Amazing

This is a fantastic space opera. Although based on the EVE online game universe, you don't have to have played EVE to become hopelessly involved in the plot.

However, where it really was something unique, the plot that is depicted in this novel actually took place on game, so that those of us playing at the time 'lived' through these events and remember them first hand. For us, this is part of history.

Cries out for a sequel.

A must for all sci-fi fans, not just EVE players.
