EVER & AFTERS is book two in The Dare With Me series by J.H. Croix and brings us Elias and Cammi’s story.
Both of these characters have a lot of baggage from their previous relationships and neither one is looking for a new one. Elias has been a regular to Cammi’s coffee truck ever since he moved to Alaska. He’s the classic silent type of guy, giving of grumpy vibes but still there’s that certain something hiding deep inside.
Neither are looking for love but it finds them anyway. Not before some ex trouble come along to muddy the waters though.
Cammi and Elias were a sweet couple and the attraction shown in book 1 followed through here in their story. A long, slow-burning story that was well worth the wait.
