Utterly Addictive!

Author West Greene wastes no time on niceties with this story, getting directly into the action so to speak and I love it. I loved every word and at the time of writing this review, about a week after getting the book, I have already read it twice!

Why is it so good, so addictive? It's the sheer force of the power of the writing, the brilliance of it, the directness of it and of course of its characters, yes the dog is included in that summary! In fact the dog is adorable, going from guard dog to lie at your feet in adoration in a matter of minutes - just brilliant.

If you aren't bothered by stalkers or some of the other triggers mentioned then this book is an absolutely must read. Pierce is the slightly innocent student, working at the coffee shop and oblivious to the fact he has a stalker. He is also alone in the world, aside from his adorable dog. Cal is the man who has set his sights on Pierce, a muscled construction worker, rough around the edges but with a heart of gold. Yes, he might break in to Pierce's house but he does it to leave gifts, after all the man doesn't have a chimney. And yes, the gifts may be incredibly personal because he has been watching Pierce but oh my goodness, I wouldn't turn him away any more than Pierce can!

Steamy, sexy, seductive and utterly addictive this is short story writing at its very best!
