An extraordinary story of love and hope from the bestselling author of The Reluctant Fundamentalist

All over the world, doors are appearing.
They lead to other cities, other countries, other lives.

And in a city gripped by war, Nadia and Saeed are newly in love.
Hardly more than strangers, desperate to survive, they open a door and step through.

But the doors only go one way.
Once you leave, there is no going back.

Exit West

What a beautiful book. Full of love and hope.

Readable and human

Following the lives of two people forced to flee their lives in the Middle East and make a difficult journey West in search of refuge, this book is a very readable story of the human impact of forced migration and the emotional challenges faced by refugees. The writing is concise, the story easy to read without losing any depth of the characters. A worthwhile read!
