EXPLORING INEIA AND THE BEACHES OF LARA ΠΕΡΙΔΙΑΒΑΖΟΝΤΑΣ ΤΗΝ ΙΝΕΙΑ ΚΑΙ ΤΙΣ ΠΑΡΑΛΙΕΣ ΤΗΣ ΛΑΡΑ‪Σ‬

This Guide is the most comprehensive guide available for this pristine area of the Cyprus. It is locally produced after a long research and presents descriptions of all the sites of interest within the village of Ineia, the famous Lara beaches in Akamas peninsula and the newly established Turtle Museum.

The guide aims to present to the visitors of Ineia the wealth of the historical, natural and cultural features of the area, accompanied by unique maps and color photos.

The Guide also describes the beaches of Lara which are famous around the world for the fact that they are home to two of the world's seven species of sea turtles, the Loggerhead turtle (Caretta caretta) and the Green turtle (Chelonia mydas), the two most iconic turtle species in the Mediterranean.

It also includes a detailed description of the Innia-Lara Turtle Museum and Education Center, which are dedicated exclusively to these two turtle species. Finally, the Guide proposes excursions to the surrounding area, including the  nature trails in Akamas National Forest as well as the Avakas Gorge.
